Let me start by saying, I hope you never have to watch this move in it's entirety. I feel like somebody stole something from me...my time and money for making the stupid decision to watch this horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE movie titled Ricco the Mean Machine (WATCH MY HIGHLIGHT REEL HERE). Ricco is neither mean, or any sort of machine. I take that back, he is a machine made for only one thing....horrible acting!
The basic story line is that Mitchum is released from prison, hell bent on finding his fathers killer. His horribly acted search for his fathers killer consists of multiple sex scenes with naked women, multiple assaults on women, and a scene where a bad guy get's his man-hood cut off and shoved into his mouth before he is thrown into a vat of acid. Very disgusting. The vat of acid plays a very big part in the movie and I kept hoping that Mitchum's character would find himself being thrown in so I wouldn't have to sit through anymore of his absolutely terrible non-acting skills.
I know I drive home the fact that Mitchum is a very, very, VERY bad actor...but that's not the real issue. What I'm trying to illustrate is the content of the films he chose to get paid to star in. He made some very terrible films toward almost every class and race of people, and I don't understand how anyone could associate with his current character of US Congressman hopeful. How does this guy think he can run for office? Does he think he is qualified, or does he think he is just good enough of an actor to get the roll? I'm doubtful on both accounts...I can tell you now from watching his movies that he is not a good actor, and I've looked into his background and history and I can't find ANYTHING that might make him qualified to be my representative in Congress.
The next post will about an even finer work of cinematic art...I'll leave you guessing. And hey...I can see this post is getting a lot of views, just follow it already!!
